The Zoological Society of London (ZSL), a charity founded in 1826, is a world-renowned centre of excellence for conservation science and applied conservation. ZSL’s mission is to promote and achieve the worldwide conservation of animals and their habitats. This is realised by carrying out field conservation and research in over 50 countries across the globe and through education and awareness-raising at our two zoos, ZSL London Zoo and ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, inspiring people to take conservation action.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role is responsible for strategic planning, development and implementation of consumer marketing activities to promote the ZSL Brand. You will work closely with the development team, conservation programmes, the Zoo and Institute of Zoology to develop a 5 year brand and fundraising strategy for ZSL and pending a review it will also have responsibility for brand management and marketing activity for ZSL, the Institute of Zoology and the Conservation Programmes
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level with marketing experience gained in a brand marketing, environment or charity fundraising. You will be highly motivated and be able to demonstrate how you have improved brand awareness and managed effective brand campaigns with demonstrable results
