Fergus works on our advisory projects for both business and finance sector clients, aiming to incorporate biodiversity into private sector decision making.
Since joining ZSL in 2021, Fergus has engaged with the finance sector on a range of biodiversity related topics. He has managed our training curriculum for financial institutions, including delivering courses on Environmental, Social, and Corporate governance (ESG) risks in soft commodity supply chains and developing a session on biodiversity in the insurance sector. He has also conducted biodiversity deep-dive assessments of companies selected for a natural capital investment fund, and supported pension schemes in assessing their impacts and dependencies on nature.
Fergus now splits his time to work more on our advisory offerings for businesses, which includes supporting soft commodity producers on biodiversity monitoring.
