Whipsnade Zoo Keeper Volunteer - Large Hoofstock Section
Become part of a great team and join us in making sure that the Large Hoofstock is looking and functioning at its very best, for our animals and visitors alike. Our section includes animals such as giraffes, rhinos, hippos, zebras, bison and several species of antelope. You'll be helping us take care of our animals by cleaning out their enclosures, doing some food prep and generally tidying and weeding. There may be opportunities to help with creating enrichment and to observe animal training. You will be on your feet all day, cover a lot of distance around the zoo, and potentially be lifting and carrying heavy objects so physical fitness is a must!
