Whether you already have your own place or want to apply for a charity place, by joining Team ZSL in the London Marathon 2027 you'll be running to protect endangered species, restore vital habitats, and support groundbreaking science and conservation work in the UK and globally.

Apply for a ZSL charity place
Our charity place applications for the 2027 London Marathon are now open! To apply, please complete our registration form. We receive a high volume of applications, and allocate places based on the information you provide in the this form, so please provide lots of detail about why you want to run for ZSL and how you plan to fundraise.
We will be in touch with application outcomes in Summer 2026, and require all our charity place runners to pay a £100 registration fee and commit to raising a minimum of £2,000 in sponsorship.
Have your own ballot place?
The London Marathon ballot results will be announced by the end of June 2026. If you are lucky enough to receive a place, we’d love you to join Team ZSL.
There is no minimum fundraising target for an own place runner, and you’ll receive support from our fundraising team to help you raise money for wildlife and prepare for the race day.
