We are transforming the iconic Snowdon Aviary at ZSL London Zoo into a stunning new home for ZSL London Zoo’s colobus monkeys. The architectural restoration is being undertaken by architects, Foster + Partners, and will engage millions of people each year with the natural world.
ZSL has the largest troop of colobus monkeys in the UK, including youngsters Mandible and Anvil, who can’t wait to move into their new canal-side home.
The Snowdon Aviary campaign will also support hundreds of thousands of people who currently face barriers to visiting. We have already launched our campaign to offer 100,000 free and subsidised tickets to groups working with older people, people with additional needs and disabilities and low-income families in Camden and Westminster. Our Community Access scheme will continue to develop with the campaign ensuring everybody can connect with nature.
