Research Interests
I am currently working as a Wildlife Veterinarian and Research Associate on the Disease Risk Analysis and Health Surveillance for Interventions project (DRAHS) at the Institute of Zoology, ZSL. We work in partnership with Natural England (NE) and other key collaborators to assess the risk of disease during conservation interventions such as translocations of endangered species. We work with animals of every taxa - mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. We carry out disease risk analysis (DRA), advise on disease risk managment (DRM) and conduct post-release health surveillance (PRHS) for each project species. To find out more about DRAHS and our work please click here.
