Our new prize draw gives players across Great Britain the chance to win big and help protect wildlife, as we launch our first ever lottery - unveiled today with a little help from the animals at London Zoo.
The Wildlife Winners Lottery promises more than just cash prizes — it pledges support for endangered species across the world, with every ticket sold supporting our global work and the animals at our conservation Zoos, London and Whipsnade.
Players stand a chance to win an impressive £10,000 jackpot, while a weekly bonus draw offers exciting prizes, including £500 for one lucky winner and £100 for five additional players. Each ticket purchased not only holds a potential windfall but supports our mission to create a world where wildlife thrives.
Launching the lottery today (Wednesday 25 June) were London Zoo’s colony of Humboldt penguins, who enjoyed a winning breakfast of sprats from their Wildlife Winners Lottery buckets and the Zoo’s Saki monkeys – who couldn’t believe their luck at finding their favourite foods inside decorated balls around their rainforest habitat.
Proceeds from the lottery will directly contribute to our work, which is delivered through four key commitments to nature; protecting species, restoring habitats, training conservationists and creating change. Our crucial work spans the globe, and the Wildlife Winners Lottery will help provide the support it needs
“By participating in the Wildlife Winners lottery, animal lovers are not just playing for a chance to win; they're actively supporting a cause that helps protect wildlife for future generations,” said Hannah Eaton, ZSL’s Individual Fundraising Manager.
Hannah continued: “Each entry contributes to our conservation efforts, from investigating whale strandings on the coasts of England and Wales or releasing Extinct in the Wild snails back to their wild habitat in French Polynesia; it’s a small way to make a big impact for you and wildlife."
