We’re excited to introduce some of the incredible runners taking on the 2026 London Marathon for ZSL on Sunday 26 April.
Our team of 12 dedicated runners is taking on this iconic challenge in support of wildlife during our 200th anniversary year. Each runner has their own powerful reason for taking part - stories of passion, dedication and determination that make this journey truly special. “I’m running my FIRST marathon to mark ZSL’s 200th anniversary — and being part of ZSL makes it even more special. I set myself this challenge to push beyond my limits in a way I’ve never done before. I wanted to surprise others with my commitment, but above all, I wanted to surprise myself and discover what I’m truly capable of...…and I’m actually enjoying running now!”

“I’m taking on the London Marathon for ZSL because I want to challenge myself while also helping to raise money for a charity who does fantastic conservation work, both here in the UK and further afield. I am incredibly lucky to work for ZSL, where I take guests on exclusive out of hours tours during our overnight stays. I find it incredibly rewarding to share these experiences and ZSL’s conservation work, helping people connect with the animals that ZSL help and support. By running the London Marathon for ZSL in 2026, I hope to raise funds to help ZSL continue with all their work globally and closer to home.”
