Join us at Whipsnade Zoo this year for the BIAZA Bird Working Group conference.
Enjoy a range of presentations and updates on topics concerning the management of birds in our collections and a chance to meet and talk to fellow keepers and aviculturists. Your time at Whipsnade will include a chance to tour the bird collection with some behind the scenes opportunities available.
The conference will run over two full days: October 5th and 6th and lunch will be provided along with light refreshments at breaks (price included in ticket). An icebreaker event will be held on the evening of October 4th and there will be a chance to socialise at an evening meal on the 5th.

Accommodation
To facilitate a group meal, accommodation is recommended in Hemel Hempstead. The following hotels are within walking distance of the town centre and the zoo is a 25-30 min commute via car.

• Travelodge Hemel Hempstead - Wolsey House, Wolsey Rd, Hemel Hempstead HP2 4TU
Hemel Hempstead is also accessible via rail on the London Northwestern Railway. This line runs between London Euston and Crewe.
