Will Gertler

Will Gertler is the CEO and co-founder of Kumbatia Seafood. Before that, he ran business development for American Unagi, a RAS aquaculture company that was farming and processing the world's first fully traceable unagi for the sushi industry. Will has additionally worked as an SME consultant for the Ghanaian president's office and as a smallholder farming consultant for horticultural exporters in East Africa. He holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard University, where he concentrated in History and African studies. On the side, Will co-runs a small organic apple farm in Kiambu, Kenya with his friends. He is based in Nairobi.
