In her role Susie manages four ZSL field programmes in important and biodiverse regions.
In Tsavo, Kenya we have a black rhino and a human-wildlife conflict mitigation project, in the Terai in India we have a cross-border tiger project with Nepal, in Thailand we have a project in the Western Forest Conservation Complex (WEFCOM) located near the Myanmar border focused on tigers, elephants and pangolins and in Mozambique we have community managed project protecting Mangrove forests. In all of these programmes there are multiple threats and so we work with local conservationists, governments, NGOs and the private sector. In her role, Susie is also developing ZSL's partnership model.
Susie has always been passionate about wildlife and she has been lucky enough to travel to see some of the world's most biodiverse regions.
However, these regions face some of the biggest threats and challenges to ensure the survival of the last remaining wildlife populations.
