Gurveena Ghataure

Gurveena Ghataure, born and raised in Kenya, has a profound love for wildlife and the natural world. She studied Zoology in the U.K in Leeds. After a decade of dedicated conservation work in Southeast Asia with FFI (Fauna & Flora International), she has returned to her roots in Kenya as the Country Manager for ZSL. 

Gurveena's true passion lies in championing the underdogs of the natural world, including lesser-known and less charismatic species like insects and amphibians. Also has a huge soft spot for marine conservation and has spent a few years working on the ocean. Her favorite pastime involves exploring the great outdoors, searching for a diverse range of species to add to her ever-expanding list.
