I work for the WildCats Conservation Alliance. We are on a mission to save wild tigers and Amur leopards for future generations by raising awareness and funding carefully chosen conservation projects. We support locally appropriate programs that address key conservation issues through anti-poaching activities, population monitoring, wildlife health monitoring, conflict mitigation, education & outreach and capacity building.
Science provides us with invaluable tools and insights to understand the complexities of ecosystems, the threats they face, and the most effective strategies for their preservation. Success is a world where wildlife thrives in their natural habitats, where endangered species are no longer on the brink of extinction, and where ecosystems are resilient and flourishing. It's a world where humans coexist harmoniously with nature, where every individual understands their role in conservation, and where future generations can inherit a planet rich in biodiversity and wonder.
WildCats Conservation Alliance is an initiative of the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) and Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation (DWF) channelling public and zoo support for wild tiger and Amur leopard conservation projects. WildCats has mobilised over £4.6m to support 103 monitoring, protection, conflict resolution, firefighting and awareness-raising projects since the year 2000. Currently, WildCats supports projects in 5 tiger range countries within Asia. It works with implementing partners whose projects are regularly and independently reviewed providing supporters with the confidence that their money is being used effectively.
