Dominic Jermey, Director General
Dominic is passionate about the positive impact ZSL has on the world. Since joining ZSL in 2017, Dominic has focussed on ensuring ZSL has the strategy and operating model in place to focus on where ZSL can make the greatest difference.

James Wren, Executive Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Engagement
James works with his team to build relationships with people by inspiring, influencing and engaging them to protect wildlife and to support ZSL.

Kathryn manages ZSL London Zoo, the world’s oldest zoo, an institution known and loved by millions of people, across many generations, around the world.

Owen is responsible for strategic vision of ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, the UK’s largest Zoo.

Helen Donwton, Director of Human Resources
Helen is the Head of HR which means that she is the lead and Executive member for our People across ZSL, this includes volunteers and staff.

Dr. Andrew Terry, Director of Conservation and Policy
Sarah Durant, Acting Director Of Science
Sarah oversees the delivery of science across the organisation. She is responsible for the management of the Institute of Zoology, the UK’s leading research institute in conservation science; Wildlife Health Services, which delivers veterinary care to the animals in ZSL’s zoos; and Science Resources, which delivers our public events and oversees our library.
