From June 2016, the Zoo stopped selling single-use plastic water bottles, instead swapping them for a sustainable alternative, CanOWater. Customers are also able to refill their water bottles at various catering outlets around the Zoo. These changes are part of ZSL's #OneLess campaign, which aims to reduce the amount of plastic entering our oceans. All of our disposables are recycled and compostable – our “plastic” disposables are actually made from vegetable starch.
