School visits to ZSL Whipsnade Zoo

WE ARE NOW TAKING BOOKINGS FOR THE SUMMER TERM, BUT ALL ARE SUBJECT TO ANY CHANGES IN GOVERNMENT GUIDANCE.

The DfE have recently updated their guidance on school trips which means that schools can resume educational day visits when zoos reopen when we move into Step 2 on 12 April. All indoor buildings will be closed at both zoos until we move into Step 3, which is currently set for no earlier than 17 May.  We will be following the Government advice so these dates may change as per any changes to the Government’s COVID measures.

We are still able to offer some educational workshops, following strict COVID-security measures. Please see our Workshop pages for more details.

As part of our COVID-security measures we have only a limited number of tickets available each day. If you would like to enquire about an educational visit, please fill out this form. If you have any questions please email learning@zsl.org
