The Scout Association Partnership

The Scouts offer fun, friendship and life changing adventure to nearly 450,000 young people across the UK. They make a positive difference in our local, national and international communities. Scouting helps young people learn new skills, experience the outdoors, gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential. This is all made possible by 100,000 adult volunteers in a huge variety of roles.

Scouts have been presidents and prime ministers, explorers and entrepreneurs. They have climbed Everest, stood at the South Pole and walked on the moon. Scouts are also teachers and  social workers – the people who make society work. They are all united by common values of integrity, respect, trust cooperation, integrity and their promise to help other people.

The Zoological Society of London are excited to be partnering with The Scout Association for the Cub Our World Challenge Award, helping Cubs earn a badge that is all about the world we live in and how we can make a difference.

We are also thrilled to be helping 150,000 Cubs celebrate their milestone centenary, Cubs100. Coming together in an unique partnership, ZSL and Cubs are set for a wild 2016 with exciting events and special access to our zoos. We are passionate about inspiring all generations to preserve the natural world, love animals, and explore science and conservation, and cannot wait to invite young adventurers to meet our incredible animals and expert teams.
