Breeding critically-endangered Sumatran tigers, preparing for the arrival of a new baby elephant, and managing a feisty group of chimpanzees – it’s all in a day's work for staff at the Zoological Society of London (ZSL).
Following the huge success of the first three series of The Zoo broadcast in 2010-13, ITV returned to ZSL in 2014 to once again give you a glimpse into life behind the scenes at the Society.
Staff at ZSL, which runs ZSL London Zoo, Whipsnade Zoo, and undertakes science and conservation work in more than 50 countries, were followed by cameras for 5 months for the three hour-long episodes which will be broadcast on:
