To celebrate the opening of our brand new Aquarium, we've got some exciting activities for kids, and at no extra cost.
ZSL in Action takes visitors into the depths of Cameroon to Lake Ossa where children can explore three different zones. In the first, they can discover how a mangrove protects a village and get hands on in supporting the ZSL team to clear up after a storm.
The second zone has no mangrove to protect it so the impact of the storm means animals are in real danger. Kids have the chance to support vets in the field to diagnose and save manatees washed up on the banks of the river.
In the final zone, young conservationists will test their skills in diagnosing what is wrong with the water in the river - could this be why the manatee is sick?
ZSL in Action runs throughout the day in our event marquee from 10.30am - 5pm from 26 July - 2 September and is recommended for 6-12 year olds.
Younger visitors will be immersed in our Fish Tales this summer as they get on board their own boat and go on a journey to discover who calls the river home, and who eats who to survive! Fish Tales will run at 11.30am in the marquee from 26 July - 2 September and is recommended for 1-5 year olds.
