Easter at Whipsnade

This Easter, 2-24 April, visit Whipsnade Zoo to enjoy an Easter trail with a difference!

We're going bigger and better than just your regular supermarket egg: come and 'eggs-plore' Whipsnade on the look out for giant eggs, each with a connection to one of our wonderful animals. Solve clues as you go, and all children who complete the trail will receive a special Whipsnade Easter sticker.

We'll also be hiding special golden eggs around the zoo, so keep your eyes peeled and if you're lucky enough to find one you'll win a 'egg-stra' special spot-prize.

With 'eggs-pert' talks, huge outdoor play and over 9,500 animals at the UK's biggest zoo, it's a massive fun day out for the whole family.

Selected dates only.

On 9-12 April we’ll have meet and greet sessions with everyone’s favourite playful pup from Down Under, Bluey, or her younger sister Bingo, at intervals on each day. Kids (and maybe grown-ups too!) will love the chance to get up close with this adorable Aussie phenomenon!

Sessions are free and subject to availability.

Sessions will be with either Bluey or Bingo and are available to be booked on a first-come first-served basis on the day of the sessions at the at the marquees positioned on the monument lawn. For Meet & Greet sessions before 2pm, you can pick up a free ticket from 10am. For free Meet & Greet tickets for sessions from 2.15pm onwards, tickets will be released at 2pm.

Relaxed sessions

Our quieter sessions for children with neurodiverse conditions including autism and other sensory processing difficulties have now sold out. Tickets for other sessions will still be bookable on site on the day, subject to availability. Any visitors who would find a visual story for this event useful can find one here.
