Giraffe's eye view

Come eye-to-eye with the world's tallest mammal at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo this October with a brand new viewing platform.

From Friday 25 October visitors to ZSL Whipsnade Zoo will be able to see more than ever before of our family of retriculated giraffes. The 9 foot-high platform will allow up to 300 people to see across the entire giraffe paddock as well as provide a view in to the indoor giraffe barn on chillier days.

Daily talks by the ZSL Live Team on the viewing platform will give visitors an insight into the lives of the Zoo's tallest residents in their native Africa and reveal why they have such long necks!
