Mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee this May half term with Zoobilee at ZSL London Zoo. Packed with family-friendly activities, from eco-friendly crafts to our royal treasure hunt, your whole family can enjoy the celebrations.

From 28 May to 5 June, we’re hosting a Jubilee extravaganza here at London Zoo. Bring your favourite cuddly toy to take part in the wildest teddy bears’ picnic in town, discover native wildlife in our secret English country garden and take part in our interactive family gameshow.

Our Zoobilee activities are included with Zoo entry and you’ll find a range of classic food and drink to purchase to make your day complete.

Zoobilee street party hub. Join the wildest teddy bears’ picnic in town, put your questions to our keepers with special Q&A sessions and, at selected times, see our llamas, alpacas and pigs out for a stroll with our animal walk arounds.
Secret English Country Garden. Step inside our hidden paradise to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, learn more about native wildlife, and try your hand at seed planting or bug house making.
Food, glorious food*. With pre-bookable picnic food (see below), classic British sandwiches and garden party picnic snacks, including scotch eggs, vol-au-vents and sausage rolls, there’s something for everyone. Not to mention Pimms for the grown-ups!
Fit for a queen. Learn more about wild matriarchs with our animal talks, take part in our royal treasure hunt or see how our Royal Patron HM The Queen has supported us over the years in our photo exhibition of royal visits.
Create and discover. Decorate your own animal crown as part of our eco-friendly crafts or try your hand at mini beast discovery, with bug hunting and pond dipping.

Make feeding time at the Zoo quick and easy by saving time with pre-ordering a Grab & Go lunch option that can be enjoyed during your visit.

With picnic lunch options starting from £6, you can pick from a delicious range of Best of British sandwiches, crisps, and soft drinks, including our Jubilee Pink Lemonade.

Adult Grab & Go Lunch - £8.50

Including a sandwich (from the Jubilee British classic range), crisps and a drink.

Adult Grab & Go Lunch with Cream Scone - £11.50

Adult Grab & Go Lunch, including a sandwich (from the Jubilee British classic range), crisps and a drink.
Plus, a scone, jam and cream.

Child Grab & Go Lunch - £6

Ham or cheese bap, jelly, raisin box, Pom-Bear crisps, and a Pip juice drink.

The above link is for pre-booking picnic food only. Zoo entry tickets are not included and must be purchased online separately prior to your visit. Members, Patrons and Fellows do not need to book entry tickets.

All pre-bookable picnic food must be booked 24 hours before your visit.

On the day of your visit, you will be able to collect your lunch from our Terrace Restaurant, between 11am and 3pm. You will need to show your ticket confirmation to collect your purchase and select your preferred food and drink offerings.

Gold members, Fellows and Patrons go Platinum for the Zoobilee!

Calling all Gold members, Fellows and Patrons! This May half term we are upgrading you, for free, to ‘Platinum’ membership as part of our Zoobilee celebrations. You’ll get a special Zoobilee platinum pin badge* when entering the Zoo – make sure you wear it, and be in with a chance to win a special surprise for you on the day! Visit the Platinum members hub at the Prince Albert Suite above the Terrace restaurant, where you can indulge in exclusive afternoon teas (watch out for that booking link via email!). Book yourself a slot for a Royal History tour to learn about ZSL’s connections with the Royal Family. The Royal history tours are daily at 11:30am and 2.30pm at limited capacity, can be booked on a first come first serve basis at the membership kiosk and are recommended for adults. We look forward to celebrating in style with our Platinum members!
