World Penguin Day

On Monday 25th April, join us for penguin themed activities to help us celebrate on World Penguin Day!

We have over 60 Humboldt penguins here at ZSL London Zoo and identifying each one can be a tricky task! Can you help us spot who is who on the beach?

Did you know? A group of walking penguins is called a waddle! Join our presenters at our Penguin Beach exhibit to find out some more fascinating facts at our penguin talk and take part in a Q&A with our expert keepers!

Schedule for the day:

  • 1pm - Penguin Spotting
    Using our penguin identification sheet, can you match the penguin to the ID tag?   
     
  • 1.30pm - Penguin Talk
    Join our presenter to hear all about our wonderful penguin colony while they enjoy some tasty lunch! 
     
  • 2pm - Keeper Q&A
    One of our expert keepers will be joining us to answer all your penguin related questions
     
  • 4pm - Penguin Spotting
    Using our penguin identification sheet, can you match the penguin to the ID tag?  
     
  • 4.30pm - Penguin Talk
    Join our presenter to hear all about our wonderful penguin colony while they enjoy some tasty dinner!
