Dear Zoo

Experience your favourite children’s book brought to life at ZSL London Zoo!

Celebrating 40 years since the publication of much-loved author Rod Campbell’s classic storybook, ZSL London Zoo is hosting the Dear Zoo experience this Easter!

Now extended to 24 April, step into the story at London Zoo. Embark on an interactive activity trail, enjoy lively story-time sessions* and of course learn all about our amazing animals while seeing them up close.

  • Explore the Dear Zoo hub. Push, pull and press your way through the interactive activities before taking part in fabulously fun storytelling sessions*.
  • Meet the Dear Zoo experience team. Get the whole family involved in the tale and equipped with their activity trail cards.
  • Follow the trail through the Zoo. Collect stamps, get up close to the animals from the book and take part in fun activities at each stop.
  • Collect all the stamps in your activity sheets and claim your special anniversary Dear Zoo sticker at the end!

And, immerse yourself in the world of Rod Campbell’s new book Look After Us, about looking after animals in danger:

  • Complete tasks to help save orangutans in the forest, camels in the desert and even whales in the ocean in this fun, interactive experience.
  • Step into the story with themed storytelling sessions* of the new book.

Both the Dear Zoo and Look After Us experiences are included in your Zoo ticket at no extra cost.

Under 3s and ZSL members go free.
