Parking information

Please be aware parking in the Zoo’s main car park will be significantly reduced from 17 September 2017 due to ongoing third party works. We would advise travelling to the Zoo via public transport, and you can find more information regarding nearest stations and bus routes on our Directions page.

If you’re unable to park in the Zoo’s car park, there is some on-street parking available on the main road. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you in advance for your patience.

Parking for Zoo visitors is available in the Zoo's Gloucester Slips Car Park and is payable on the day.

The Zoo's Main Gate is situated on the Outer Circle of Regent's Park NW1, which is outside of the congestion charge zone.

Coach parking

From 27 September to 22 October 2017, ZSL London Zoo’s car park will be reduced in size while essential Thames Water works and the annual Frieze Art Fair take place. This means unfortunately there will be no drop off or parking facilities for coaches during this period. The nearest TfL bus stop is on Prince Albert Road near the bridge over Regent’s Canal, a short walk from our entrance (approximately the same distance as from our car park).

From 23 October 2017 we hope to reinstate a coach drop off zone, although parking will remain unavailable. ZSL is exploring alternative parking options as we know coaches are important for our schools and groups visitors. In the meantime, the latest coach parking information is available from Transport for London at https://tfl.gov.uk/info-for/coach-drivers/.

Did you know that ZSL London Zoo is easily accessible by public transport?
Camden Town underground station is only a short walk away, with Regent’s Park tube also within walking distance (c.20mins through the park).
Alternatively, buses C2 (from Victoria via Oxford Circus and Great Portland Street) and 274 (via Marble Arch/Baker Street) stop near the zoo regularly.
Find out the closest tube station and bus stops here or plan your journey at https://tfl.gov.uk/plan-a-journey/.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

Disabled parking

There are six disabled parking bays near the Zoo entrance. Five are in the small car park opposite the entrance and one bay is immediately in front of the entrance.

Otherwise there is parking in the Zoo car park – about 500 yards along the same road.

Disabled badge holders and motorcycles may park for free.
