Group sessions

Group session at ZSL London Zoo
Groups of all ages can now upgrade their tickets to include exclusive education sessions at ZSL London Zoo.

Our highly skilled education team can offer your group a unique and valuable experience whilst they enjoy a day out in Central London. Groups can hear about animals from around the world and discover many of the important projects being completed by the ZSL conservation teams. These interactive sessions are delivered with the help of some of our animal friends and resources such as biofacts and multimedia.

Group sessions:

World Habitats

Why do camels have long eyelashes, and why does a sloth turn green? We discover how animals’ bodies are adapted to a range of different habitats. (Suitable for 5-10 year olds)

How do animals cope with extreme temperatures or defend themselves from predators? Discover some weird and wonderful adaptations as your group investigates the physical and behavioural features that help animals survive. (Suitable for 10-16 year olds)

Zoos and Conservation

Using case studies form ZSL, this session helps your group to understand how zoos work to conserve endangered species; from captive breeding and reintroduction programmes, to science and education. (Suitable for 16+)
