Current Research
I am studying a reintroduced population of the endangered Mauritius Fody Foudia rubra, on the islet Ile Aux Aigrettes just off the coast of Mauritius. The species was previously critically endangered, but this population has enabled the species numbers to increase and the threat level to be downgraded. I am working to understand the dynamics of this population, to inform other reintroductions of this species and others that face similar threats.
