Dr. Stephen Price
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Background and Interests:
I work mostly on viral pathogens of amphibians. I'm really interested in questions like:
- What makes a pathogen bad?
- Why can this virus infect everything but that one only seems to like you?
- How do pathogens spread?
- What do people do that impacts on wildlife disease?
My work includes fieldwork at sites of disease outbreaks, molecular biology, and diverse computational analyses.
I love to interact with different crowds; mostly from veterinary science, population genetics, and bioinformatics but open to more!
