ZSL has been shortlisted for ‘Best Conservation Charity for Families’, while ZSL Whipsnade Zoo has been shortlisted for ‘Best UK Day Out/Attraction for Families’.

Speaking about the nominations, ZSL brand manager Bonnie Marsden said: “We’re so thrilled to have been shortlisted for the Family Traveller awards. At ZSL, we’re incredibly proud to have such a wide range of supporters – from young children just starting to discover a passion for penguins to those who’ve been supporting our worldwide conservation work for over 50 years.

“Being shortlisted for such fantastic awards is not just a testament to how hard our teams work conserving animals and their habitats all over the world but also to those who devote themselves to spreading the word about ZSL’s fantastic work. We love that families share our passion for conserving animals and are joining us working for wildlife, with parents, grandparents, aunties and uncles all passing on how important protecting our planet’s wildlife is with future generations to come.”

Voting is open until 20 September 2016 and we encourage all ZSL supporters to give us their nod of approval before an awards ceremony at the White Company store in Sloan Square reveals the winners on 4 October 2016.
