Vets in Action is back at London Zoo during February half term 2024!

Budding young vets can put their animal care skills to the test with roleplay and interactive experiences every day of the holidays.

From Saturday 10 to Sunday 18 February, kids can report for duty at the specially created animal hospital reception, junior vets will pop on their white coats and join the team in the Zoo’s hands-on clinic to experience first-hand the huge variety of work carried out by the Zoo’s vets, vet nurses and zookeepers – from microchipping crocodiles to caring for a wounded lion.

Discover giant-sized animal x-rays on the Zoo’s main lawn, uncovering hidden secrets of some of the Zoo’s residents and find out how much you know about animal anatomy.

Or get hands-on with crafts at the Conservation Station to discover how ZSL’s dedicated professionals contribute to wildlife preservation with a vet exhibition.

Simply drop by the Catwalk Stand in Tiger Territory and choose which big cat you want to dedicate your walk around London Zoo to, pick up a cat mask to wear throughout your visit, then head out around the Zoo!
