What to expect on the day

This experience begins with a health and safety briefing, after getting kitted out in your keeper for a day outfit, you will find out from your host Zoo keeper which animals you will be helping to look after for the day over breakfast. Keeper for a Day duties do vary, but a typical experience will start with you helping to muck out some animals in the morning, preparing enrichment, feeding various species and really getting to understand what our keepers do on a day to day basis. You will enjoy a hearty Zoo keepers lunch so no need to bring any food with you, if you have visitors in the zoo they are welcome to join you for lunch!

"It was an amazing day - hard work but great fun and for an animal lover such as myself, the perfect present."
