Members share their Zoo Art!

Painting of Amur tiger, Botzman

We asked our members to send us their Zoo-themed artistic creations - and we haven't been disappointed! From acrylics to sculptures, collage and Lego, our members have embraced all mediums to bring their favourite animal-friends to life. But can you recognise any familar faces?

Anne sent us in a flawless arcrylic painting of Amur tiger, Botzman (above), painted from a photograph taken by her husband. We think he would be very proud of her efforts, don't you?

Animation hippo made of lego

Andrew sent us in a picture of Hoover, Whipsnade's male hippo, that he pieced together with Lego! Amazingly, Hoover even moves - you can see a video here

Drawing of elephant, hippo, giraffe and Zebra

Talking of hippos, Olivia submitted a wonderful scene inspired by her favourite animals at Whispande. She has been going to the Zoo since she was a baby, and has been a member for 13 years!

Pictures of giraffes created by members

A double whammy of giraffes courtesy of Estella ( 8-years-old) and Isla (2-years-old), left and right respectively. Absolutely perfect!

Painting of red panda at Whipsnade

Louisa has sent us a gorgeous painting of a red panda inspired by her trips to Whipsnade Zoo.
