The Zoological Society of London (ZSL) is a charity dedicated to the worldwide conservation of animals and their habitats.  
 
Reporting into the Development Director, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven fundraising and events experience to manage the charity’s programme of challenge events and community fundraising. The ideal candidate will be a confident and innovative individual with the ability to deliver a high standard of service and management to the area. The role will also play a vital part in the 2015 ZSL Gala to ensure that event is delivered to a high standard operationally.  
 
Previous experience of working in event fundraising is essential as is the ability to demonstrate organising and managing a portfolio of fundraising events across a wide spectrum of activities. 
 
The successful candidate will be independently driven and show initiative; with excellent verbal and written communications skills, combined with strong time management and organisational ability.
