Zoo Nights

Zoo Nights at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo showed off some of the most amazing animals in the world for a wild night out!

On 1 July, ZSL Whipsnade Zoo opened after hours for a unique summer night out. Visitors could enjoy great music and entertainment, a burger from the BBQ and a drink on the lawn as they took in the sights.

There were also plenty of opportunities to learn more about some of Whipsnade's most popular creatures both great and small, with a packed schedule of animal talks and feeds. The free safari bus provided a thrilling tour by twilight of the UK's largest zoo.

Food Court

There was something for everyone in the Food Court including authentic Spanish paella, a free-range hog roast roll, and 6oz Aberdeen Angus burgers from the BBQ.

Entertainment

Rampage Mas Band, Luton's most popular and flamboyant Carnival Club and Mas Band, served up a sizzling performance to hot 'soca' beats on the Main Lawn at 8.00pm.

Then at 9:30pm in the Birds of the World Arena, the Flame Oz Fire Show returned to Zoo Nights for yet another spectacular and unforgettable finalé performance!

Amazing animals

Throughout the evening, visitors could discover the amazing animals of ZSL Whipsnade Zoo in demonstrations, talks and feeds. From sealion splash to the tiger talk and feed, there were enless things to do to keep the crowds entertained at Zoo Nights!
