With so many different species housed at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo your trip will be full of excitement.
With live demonstrations, a free land train called the Trunk Line and exhibits like ‘Cheetah Rock’ and ‘In with the lemurs’, the only trouble you will have is fitting everything into one day!

Once a booking has been made one teacher per class will be automatically allocated free admission to plan their trip.

School Visits
2012 education admission prices
Please pay admission at the entrance on the day of the visit. Cheques should be made payable to 'Zoological Society of London'.

Additional adults | £12.75 |
One adult is admitted free for every 10 secondary pupils or every 6 primary pupils. Any adults above this ratio are required to pay the admission price on arrival.
Teachers and accompanying adults are required to supervise children (those under 16 years of age) at all times. Noisy and unruly behaviour upsets the animals and other visitors.
Education session
£40 per session (1 – 35 pupils)
Volunteer-led tour (Whipsnade Zoo only - mid April to end of October)
£10 per school (1 – 35 pupils)

Risk Assessment
Like all zoos and wildlife parks, we have to operate under the auspices of the Zoo Licensing Act.
We are subject to an annual inspection by enforcing officers, who look at the way we take care of our animals and the safety of visitors and staff.
