ZSL Whipsnade Zoo Stampede

The meerkats at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo inspect the Zoo Stampede trophy before the big event itself on the 5th July.
ZSL teamed up with Dunstable Road Runners for the 6th year of the ZSL Whipsnade Zoo Stampede event, sponsored by Santander. The event was a great success with nearly 1,000 people taking part in the annual Stampede.
The Stampede at Whipsnade helps to raise valuable funds for the Zoological Society of London’s Tiger SOS campaign. Find out more about Tiger SOS.
Whipsnade's resident meerkats, John, Paul, George and Ringo, gave the trophies four ‘claws-up’ after being given their afternoon snack of yummy meal worms inside the cups, which were cleaned and polished before the event on Sunday 5th June.
