Our presenters, Sue and Dave Shaw have travelled frequently to South and Central America, as well as Malaysia and Borneo.

This summer, they travel to Whipsnade Wild Animal Park to talk to us all about their adventures. They combine extensive knowledge and experience, with genuine products and artefacts, to bring an informative, humorous and entertaining glimpse of the rainforest to Bedfordshire!

Their lively presentations will educate visitors about the unique cultures of forest people and the rich biodiversity of the Amazon rainforest.

The presentations will be held on 16, 17, 18, 19 August at Whipsnade Wild Animal Park. Please call 01582 871330 for exact timings.

The presentations are free to all visitors to the Park.

During your visit to the Park, why not pop along to see Whipsnade's own rainforest species and discover how we are helping to save them in the wild? Our saki monkeys, macaws and tamarins are all great examples.

Remember, just by visiting the Park, you are contributing to our many Global conservation projects and fieldwork.

The aim of the Rainforest Roadshow is to share some of the magic and encourage a greater understanding of this fascinating ecosystem, in the hope that we can all help to save it for the indigenous tribal people and for future generations.
