In this year of biodiversity, Creature Features lets you take a close up view of some of the fascinating and lively creatures of the world, all in one place at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo.

Interactive talks around the zoo include an entertaining hippo feed with these wallowing giants, a peek at the secretive red panda around their huge oak tree and a lively talk at the lemurs.

Find out about these creatures’ habitat, origins and struggle for survival in the wild.

There’s more indoor activities to keep the little ones busy in the Discovery Centre, with the popular craft making of amazing amphibians and invertebrates, including origami, colouring and badge-making.

While there enjoy a “show and tell” session with keepers introducing some of the world’s smallest creatures to hold – including stick insects and cockroaches.

In addition, our daily Sealion Splash and Birds of the World will be in full swing for the week (from Saturday Feb 13th-21st inclusive).

It will also be full steam ahead for our Jumbo Express which will be taking visitors on the ever-popular train rides.
