Animal “teams” show their support for England at Whipsnade

Lemurs and wild boars are getting in the World Cup mood as they get prepare for a weekend of football fever.
The 11-strong black and white ring-tailed lemur troupe has been enjoying enrichment with painted boomer balls to play with on their island.
While in the wild boar paddock, the new litter of nine stripy piglets are joining their two mothers for a spot of footie with their tiny snouts and England balls.
Visitors to the Zoo can not only see our lemurs and boars frolicking in the sun, but also catch exciting animal demonstrations.
These include Elephantastic! with the zoo’s herd of Asian elephants and a splash show with the sealions. All the action is set in the 600 acre zoo surrounded by the beautiful Chiltern Hills.
