A wild night out

Thousands of visitors enjoyed a warm sunny evening at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo Nights, taking advantage of both the weather and the one night of the year the zoo opens late in the evening.

Animal demonstrations, including the popular Elephantastic! , the Birds of the World and the Sealion Splash drew huge crowds.
There was plenty more to entertain with feeds and talks at the penguins, wild boar, moose and giraffes.
Many chose to simply wander and take in the delights of the zoo on a warm and sunny summer evening.
The jazz band blended in with the atmosphere at the Wild Bite Café while Flame Oz brought everyone together for a spectacular finale as the sun set.

Missed Zoo Nights? Don't worry. Even though Zoo Nights is a once a year event, this summer ZSL London Zoo will be open after hours every Friday night in August. This gives you four chances for the perfect wild Friday night out!
