Ring-tailed lemur
Lemur catta

Animal facts
Ring-tailed lemurs exhibit a unique social structure in that all females dominate all males. They also spend more time on the ground than any other type of lemurs - up to a third of their active hours. Males wipe scent from their wrist glands onto their tails and use them to wage a 'stink fight'. This helps keep other males out of their territory.
