Animal facts
Wallabies are simply small kangaroos. The Bennett’s wallaby has one of the most dense coats of any kangaroo species making it highly successful in the cool Tasmanian climate. During the day it generally lies low in scrub or woodland, coming out in the evening to begin feeding in grassy clearings.
