Boo at the Zoo
26 Oct - 3 Nov 2013 – All Day
Get set for a host of spooky goings on at ZSL London Zoo this Halloween half term.
From Saturday 26 October – Sunday 3 November the zoo will come creeping to life with Halloween-themed special events, animal demonstrations and hands-on activities led by our grim-keepers!
With a spooky schedule of activities including spooky storytelling, ominous owl encounters and creepy crafts there’s enough to make everyone scream with delight.
The zoo will be getting a macabre makeover as it hosts lots of Halloween family fun including frightening face painting, menacing mask-making and other devilish delights such as terrifying touch tables and eerie enrichment-making workshops.
The Big Draw
There’s also a chance for visitors to get chillingly creative, by drawing some of our weird and wonderful species as part of the Big Draw 2013. The Big Draw will be running throughout the October half term for children aged between 5-15 years. There are some fantastic prizes to be won for the best drawings. Find out more about the Big Draw.
Visitors can also enjoy special Halloween versions of some of our popular animal talks, feeds and demonstrations. There’ll be a daily fancy dress parade with great prizes to be won for the very best and scariest Halloween costumes. All children in costume, wearing masks, hats or with their face painted are welcome to enter - the spookier the better!
