Thanks for watching!

Millions of viewers have tuned in over the last three weeks to watch the three episodes of ITV1’s The Zoo, a behind-the-scenes glimpse of life at ZSL.

Ian and Raja

Cameras followed zookeepers, conservationists, scientists, and vets at ZSL for a year as they went about their daily business and the series reveals the emotionally intense, and sometimes heartbreaking, experiences of our devoted staff.

Viewers have seen the magical moment a baby elephant is brought into the world, witnessed arachnophobics overcome their spider fears and shared in the ups and downs of Gorilla Kingdom.

They’ve also seen some of the conservation work going on around the world, including our efforts to save the one-horned rhino and re-introduce the corncrake to Britain.

We hope that everyone who has watched the documentary has learned something about ZSL that they didn’t know before, and that some of you might now want to support some of our work.

By supporting ZSL, you will be helping us to protect animals in the wild and look after the animals at the zoos.

You can donate to us directly , join up as a member or even just visit the zoo as a way of supporting us and our work.
