Taxi drivers get fare deal at ZSL London Zoo

Free entry for London’s cabbies on 7-9 June 2013
London’s iconic black cabbies can enjoy a fare-free day out at ZSL London Zoo from Friday 7 to Sunday 9 June 2013.
For one weekend only, cabbies are invited to swap their spot at the ranks to enjoy a free visit with their families at one of London’s best-loved attractions.
Lucky taxi drivers and their families can take the opportunity to visit Tiger Territory; the Zoo’s brand new flagship exhibit and the home of critically endangered Sumatran tiger pair, Jae Jae and Melati.
Giving the busy drivers a well-deserved day off ahead of the busy city summer, Zoo bosses expect the notoriously chatty cabbies to be raving about their day out to their passengers this summer.
Marketing Manager Owen Craft said: “ZSL London Zoo is one of London’s most renowned attractions and we know that the black cab drivers will be excited to share the details of their day out after visiting.
“As well as the Zoo’s brand new exhibit Tiger Territory, where cab drivers can see Jae Jae and Melati in their Indonesian-inspired habitat, there’s a packed schedule of animal demonstrations and keeper talks which everyone will love.”
To register for their free tickets, taxi drivers simply need to register their details online.
