Luca, an endangered white-naped mangabey monkey, catches up on his beauty sleep after a hectic Bank Holiday weekend at ZSL London Zoo.

Almost 20,000 people visited the zoo over the weekend, which coincided with Luca’s first birthday.
With only a few white-naped mangabey monkeys left struggling for survival in the wild after deforestation and hunting has decimated their populations, each individual monkey is incredibly precious.
Not long after his much-needed nap Luca was out exploring his purpose-built enclosure, which is part of the Zoo's Gorilla Kingdom exhibit.
Luca isn't the only celebrity in the family. His older sister Conchita, who was born a few weeks before Luca, is one of the main stars of our YouTube channel. Footage of her has been viewed over 670,000 times.
