Penguins p-p-prepare for their big move

Pippa and Polly take a wistful glance back at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, Bedfordshire, as they prepare to make their way to their new Penguin Beach home at ZSL London Zoo.
The two black and white friends will join dozens of other penguins who will eventually make up a 200-strong colony of penguins at England’s largest penguin pool.
Holding more than 450,000 litres of water the Zoo’s new pool will be four times bigger and three times deeper than the existing penguin pool, and opens to the public on Friday 27th May.
London Zoo keeper Adrian Walls says: “Pippa and Polly might be sad to leave Whipsnade Zoo, but they’re going to be amazed when they see their enormous new beachside pool.”
