Gorilla Kingdom is a brand new £5.3m enclosure that has taken almost 18 months to build and is now home to a colony of stunning western lowland gorillas.

ZSL London Zoo is changing, and Gorilla Kingdom will be the flagship exhibit that signifies the way we are developing and “bringing down the bars”. Visitors to the Zoo will wander a leafy path and walk through an aviary filled with beautiful African birds before emerging next to a “forest clearing” where they can expect an awesome view of our gorillas. Black and White colobus monkeys will scamper in the trees above the gorillas and African primates and reptiles can be seen in the surrounding enclosures.

Gorilla Kingdom is the Zoo’s most significant investment for more than 40 years and no visitor will want to miss this amazing chance to get closer to some of the world’s most captivating animals.
