Meet the Tigers
Reika, our female tiger, is the smaller of our two Sumatran tigers. Lumpur the male was born in France in 1997. He came to ZSL London Zoo in 1999.
Keepers at the Zoo provide the animals with a daily enrichment prgramme , aimed at stimulating their natural instincts.
In Lumpur and Reika's case activities such as hiding small pieces of meat around the enclosure add to the animal’s feeding time by allowing them to search for their food.
