Vouchers for 2009 experiences for ZSL's successful Keeper for a Day programme are now on sale, running at both ZSL London and Whipsnade Zoos.
This once in a life time experience allows your nearest and dearest to get up close and personal with some of ZSL’s most popular animals, providing a unique insight into the day-to-day life of our keepers and their charges.
The sessions (available for those aged 16 and over) give the opportunity to get close to animals such as giraffes, elephants, penguins and big cats helping out with tasks such as mucking out, assisting with enrichment activities and feeding some of our most popular creatures, a must have for any animal lover!
The full day is £260 and the more compact Introduction to Zoo Keeping £165. The programme runs Monday to Friday, all year round at London and on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from April to October at Whipsnade.
Guided by one of our devoted keepers participants will go behind the scenes and meet some of the rarest animals on the planet.
